About A Day (Une Journée)

Four mysteriously connected characters guide one another through the obstacles that make up an ordinary day.
A strange and tender new play from Québec, winner of the Gélinas prize. Produced for live video stream by the Cherry Artists’ Collective.
The shifting structure of the text lends itself magically to mixed video. Four live actors perform from multi-camera green-screen booths in a historic theater, their performances mixed in real time with recorded audio and video.

Original text: Gabrielle Chapdelaine
English translation: Josephine George
