Chang in a Void Moon, the first serialized play ever produced in NY, began in 1982 at the Pyramid Club, received a Bessie Award in 1985 and has been highly acclaimed through over 60 episodes in multiple countries. La MaMa presented past episodes in 1995, 1997, 2003 and 2004,2014.

About John Jesurun
John Jesurun is a playwright, director and media artist based in New York. His work is distinguished by his integrated creation of text, direction, set and media design. Past projects include “Faust~How I Rose” at BAM, “Philoktetes” at Soho Rep, “Firefall” at Dance Theater Workshop, Jeff Buckley’s video “Last Goodbye”, Harry Partch’s opera “Delusion of the Fury”at the Japan Society. “Shatterhand Massacree and other Media Texts” published by Performing Arts Journal.
About The Festival
The Segal Center Film Festival on Theatre and Performance (FTP) is an annual event showcasing films drawn from the world of theatre and performance. The festival presents experimental, emerging, and established theatre artists and filmmakers from around the world to audiences and industry professionals. The 7th annual festival will focus on work for the screen created by theatre artists during the Time of Corona. The festival will be held digitally from March 1st – 15th 2022.
