About Date an Eastern European
The Hungarian theater collective STEREO AKT is taking on the role of matchmaker and inviting the audience on an online date. Everything has been prepared: a cosy restaurant with a good atmosphere, a friendly waiter with a nice smile, and, most importantly, an attractive dating partner from Eastern Europe. The spectator – you – simply has to take a seat and get to know them. But what does it mean to be Eastern European? And to date one?

About STEREO AKT
STEREO AKT is one of the most progressive Hungarian contemporary theatre collectives, which creates event-like performances with the leadership of Martin Boross. Theatre is an event, audience members are participants, and the point of the event is the meeting of the participants’ reality and the fantasy of the artist. The essence of STEREO AKT performances is born from the – often wordless – dialogue between audience and performers.
About The Festival
The Segal Center Film Festival on Theatre and Performance (FTP) is an annual event showcasing films drawn from the world of theatre and performance. The festival presents experimental, emerging, and established theatre artists and filmmakers from around the world to audiences and industry professionals. The 7th annual festival will focus on work for the screen created by theatre artists during the Time of Corona. The festival will be held digitally from March 1st – 15th 2022.
