About La Setta (delle Paesaggiste d’Interno)
Cascone Cruciani found the meeting ID and password to access the room of one of the most unknown sects on the web: “The Sect of the Interior Designers”. With the utmost secrecy, they gave access to the room during rituals. The video is a documentation of a ritual aimed at creating a new domestic landscape based on the connections between the human, animal, plant and mineral worlds. “The landscapers”, by building multiform agglomerations of objects, furniture, etc, become themselves landscape.

John Cascone, visual artist, and Veronica Cruciani, theater director, collaborate since 2015, among the main works : “Dell’Immondo” Teatro dell’Orologio, Rome; “Fuori di copione la lingua è una materia”, Monash University in Prato, 2015; “Alzheimer mon amour” Teatro India; “Male”, Festa Franca, Cannara (PG) 2016; L’Edificio Infinito, Maranola, (LT) 2018; “La Palude”, Teatro India, Rome, 2019. In 2020 the work “La Setta (of the interior landscapers)” founds the artistic duo Cascone Cruciani.
About The Festival
The Segal Center Film Festival on Theatre and Performance (FTP) is an annual event showcasing films drawn from the world of theatre and performance. The festival presents experimental, emerging, and established theatre artists and filmmakers from around the world to audiences and industry professionals. The 7th annual festival will focus on work for the screen created by theatre artists during the Time of Corona. The festival will be held digitally from March 1st – 15th 2022.
