CEC ArtsLink presents the Future Fellow Manifesto by Rusanda Curcă, a cultural worker, artist-farmer and environmental and civic activist from Hîrtop village, Republic of Moldova. Rusanda is one of the ten transnational Future Fellows who participated in the ArtsLink Assembly 2021. Today, through dialogue and sharing practices with artists and independent cultural hubs, the Future Fellows continue exploring inspirational new models for working in community and public contexts and propose a new arts ecology beyond existing arts infrastructures.
About Rusanda Curcă
Rusanda Curcă is a cultural worker, environmental and civic activist living in Hîrtop village, Republic of Moldova. She is the co-directrice of the Center for Cultural Projects Arta Azi, with a focus on developing the theatre sector within the country. Rusanda was recently elected the co-directrice of the Coalition of the independent cultural sector from Republic of Moldova, an umbrella organization that unites the representatives of the independent cultural scene in order to consolidate it and which aims to improve the legislation in the field of culture through advocacy activities.
About The Festival
The Segal Center Film Festival on Theatre and Performance (FTP) is an annual event showcasing films drawn from the world of theatre and performance. The festival presents experimental, emerging, and established theatre artists and filmmakers from around the world to audiences and industry professionals. The 7th annual festival will focus on work for the screen created by theatre artists during the Time of Corona. The festival will be held digitally from March 1st – 15th 2022.
